Safer streets start with brothers who show up.

Brothers Organizing Safe Streets empowers youth, rebuilds lives, and breaks the cycle of incarceration through education, mentorship, and lived-experience curricula.
Education. Mentorship. Re-entry. Real tools for people the system has overlooked.

Empowering youth. Rebuilding lives. Breaking the cycle.

We assist marginalized communities and at-risk youth with the tools, education, and mentorship to handle life’s challenges, avoid the justice system, and return to society successfully. Through our partnership with Greenwood Publishing, we teach with curricula built from lived experience that builds personal growth, accountability, and long-term success.

Guiding at-risk youth

Young adults learn the real-world consequences of criminal behavior so they can make informed, positive choices.

Gang abatement and re-entry

Cognitive-behavioral tools help people leave destructive cycles and build legal, self-governing futures.

Reducing recidivism

Resources for employment, mental health, education, and community support after release.

A mission shaped by lived experience

Our curricula come from Gregory Greenwood, author and publisher at Greenwood Publishing. Sentenced as a teenager to Life Without Parole at Mississippi’s Parchman prison farm, he turned his circumstances into a testimony of faith, hope, and internal freedom, and now writes the textbooks and workbooks that anchor our programs.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to: accountability with empathy, and a clear path forward.
Free yourself from within.
